DESCRIPTION

Very discreet, I manage to sneak into inhabited areas unnoticed! My size and color help me a lot: beige or brown with sometimes a hint of a salmon hue. My body is further decorated with two rows of black dots.

In Québec, we reproduce at the end of April, after hibernation. We are ovoviviparous, and our young measue between 8.5 and 11 cm. The young snakes will stay together for some time.

We are very rare in Québec. We are only found in a few places such as the Greater Montréal and Valleyfield regions. Though we adapt well to human presence, the urban and residential development does not help us!
