Experience+

The Ecomuseum Zoo is proud to offer you Experience+ activities to showcase unique moments with the animals of the zoo!

Breakfast with the animals

Discover what the animals eat for breakfast! Bagels or fruit ... what do you think?

The choice is up to you: breakfast with the bears, lynx or wolves! Check the calendar of events for dates proposed, or call us to book the activity for your private group.

The activity lasts two and a half (2 1/2) hours. You will attend a special presentation on the chosen animal while enjoying a continental breakfast; you will then pitch-in to help prepare breakfast for the animals and serve them at their habitat. You will not regret bringing your camera!

Each Breakfast with the animals activity is offered to guests aged 3 and over. The activity begins at 8 a.m. before the zoo opens and ends at 10:30 a.m. You will then have the opportunity to visit the Ecomuseum Zoo freely as the price of admission is included in the activity cost.

Zookeeper for a day

Children will spend the day with our expert zoologists with whom they will not only pitch-in, but will enjoy up-close encounters with some of our animal ambassadors and will learn many new and exciting things throughout the day!

Here is what awaits participants of the Zookeeper-for-a-Day activity:

  • Prepare and serve meals for some of our animals;
  • Invent enrichment toys for our animals and observe their reaction to these discoveries;
  • Participate in a scientific workshop as participants dissect a raptor pellet;
  • Enjoy up-close encounters with some of our most popular animal ambassadors.

Twilight at the zoo

What happens at the zoo as the doors close to the public and darkness falls?

As the animals revert to being masters of the night, take the opportunity to visit the site under the stars with our zoologists for a private tour! As you wait for darkness in the comfort of our main education pavilion, enjoy up-close encounters with some of our nocturnal ambassadors.

This Experience+ activity is reserved for guests 7 years old and over.

Frog Call Night

Listen to the wildest choir in town! Each spring, Mother Nature offers us the opportunity to hear the most beautiful melodies in unison. It is the only time of year where you can hear a chorus of male frogs calling females to the pond, as Spring Peepers breed in early spring.

During the event all your senses will be heightened! At dusk, you will leave in the company of a zoologist to discover our marsh frogs. Bring boots and flashlights to find as many frogs as possible and allow our expert zoologists to help you identify your discoveries.

Magical Night

What would you say to spending a Magical Night at the Ecomuseum Zoo? As night falls the animals become once more masters of the zoo; discover which ones are nocturnal and which ones are diurnal and enjoy unforgettable up-close encounters as the zoo is closed to the public and remains open only for those spending a Magical Night!

The Magical Night is hosted by our zoologists and include :

  • A special guided tour under the stars through the site to discover our nocturnal animals;
  • Special presentations to meet and even touch some of our animal ambassadors;
  • Overnight stay at the zoo;
  • A healthy continental breakfast to start off the day;
  • A second guided tour as the day breaks to observe our diurnal animals;
  • And many more surprises!

This activity is offered only to private groups with a minimum of 20 participants (or monetary equivalent) on the date that works best for you (subject to availability).
