Through its efforts to modernize and renew its infrastructure, the Ecomuseum Zoo undertook in September 2013 its most ambitious fundraising campaign with an objective of raising a total of $7 million dollars over the next five years.
Many essential projects segmented into three main categories will thus be carried out, namely:
Thanks to the donations received, it is no less than 11 projects centered on the well-being of the animals that have or will have been carried out. For details regarding these projects, please consult the Animal Axis page.
Education has been at the heart of the Ecomuseum Zoo’s mission since its inception. Thanks to our educational program and its activities both on site at the zoo and through our outreach program in the community, we reach over 35 000 children every year to raise awareness of the importance of protecting Québec’s flora and fauna.
