Volunteer

Are you looking for a rewarding and exciting volunteer opportunity?

Why not give of your time to the Ecomuseum Zoo’s education program! Our team of dedicated volunteers helps us day after day in the pursuit of our educational mission.

Naturalist-guides

We are always happy to welcome new volunteers. If you care about environmental education and would like to share your passion, you will no doubt be an excellent naturalist-guide, offering guided tours for groups of visitors and supporting our zoologists during Experience + activities.

Are you worried that you do not have the knowledge or skills to perform such tasks? Rest assured: the Ecomuseum Zoo team will provide you with all the training you need to make you comfortable in your new role!

Requirements: Minimum 75 hours per year

Please note that all volunteers for the season have been recruited!

Animal care

Are you currently studying, or have graduated, in biology, animal health technology or environmental sciences? And are you looking for a volunteer opportunity at the Ecomuseum Zoo?

We occasionally recruit volunteers for our herpetology department (reptiles and amphibians).

Please note that due to the strict animal care protocols in place at the Ecomuseum Zoo, we do not recruit volunteers for the zoo's mammals and birds department. Similarly, all volunteers related to animal care must be students in one of the above mentioned fields. Thank you for your understanding!
