Until Thanksgiving, carry the flame of biodiversity by completing the ZOOlympiques trail

A fun way to visit? Complete your zoo passport-map during your visit to test your knowledge! Find the right order on the species podiums and rekindle the ZOOlympics flame to help protect Quebec's wildlife. Complete the passport for your chance to win the prize of the month, a Zootique gift basket worth $75!

On Thanksgiving at the zoo, we talk turkey!

Come to the Ecomuseum Zoo and take part in our “Special Turkey” game to learn more about these emblematic birds! Don't miss the chance to enjoy this unique experience with family and friends. You'll also be able to attend brand-new presentations on these gobbling animals at 10am, 11 am, 2 pm and 3 pm! On October 12, 13 and 14, transform yourself into an Earthworm and take part in this fun game to expand your knowledge! You'll have to explore the zoo to learn more about Wild Turkeys, and then answer the questions in your activity booklet! You could win a basket of products from our Zootique!

For Halloween at the zoo, play the escape game “Rescue Mission” and save the Wood Turtle!

This Halloween at the Ecomuseum Zoo, there's plenty of choice! Come visit the zoo and take part in one of our many activities! Our program begins with presentations on the Wood Turtle, it continues with "Halloween special" enrichments for the animals and you might be lucky enough to see one, and, the pièce de résistance, ends with an escape game called Rescue Mission! From October 19 to 27th, come and help the Research and Conservation team find a lost password to save the Wood Turtle from ending up in the disappeared species cemetery! This escape game will teach you more about this vulnerable species and will have you racking your brains to succeed in your mission! Whether it's the family version or the adult only version, each game has been designed and thought out specifically to get your brain working! It's the perfect way to spend time with family and friends! By taking part in this activity and by succeeding in your mission, you'll get a chance to win a gift basket from the Zootique, and become an expert on Québec’s wildlife! On the weekends of October 19-20 and 26-27, attend our educational presentations designed especially for Halloween! Learn more about the turtles, and especially the Wood Turtle, who happens to be the star of the escape game! To participate, come to the room inside the main pavilion at 10 am, 11 am, 2 pm and 3 pm and join our Ecomuseum Zoo experts!

From Mid-November, follow the Elf tracks!

Oh, Oh, Oh! As you may already know, Santa’s elves are pranksters, and they love to pull pranks. Unfortunately, the Ecomuseum Zoo has not been spared from these little creatures and we are counting on you to find the animals! That's right, an elf managed to break into the zoo and he took control of the game we had prepared for you this winter! We created some great educational posters on animal footprints that they leave on the land of snow to help you identify them. But… the Elf decided the reign in the zoo, and he walked all over the tracks! After taking a closer look, we noticed that he even stole one of them! What a prankster he is! To help us outwit this rascal and let the animals reign once again in the land of the snow, you'll have to go around the zoo to learn how to recognize animal tracks and find out which sign has been hidden! Help us show him that we are the clever ones and add a touch of magic to your visit! Quebec's animals must adapt to the cold, and their behavior can even change! Our team will share their knowledge of these majestic species with you so that you can become local wildlife experts! During some weekends, you can learn more about the animals thanks to our educative presentations at 10am, 11am, 2pm and 3 pm!
