Spot the right picture! Expert amphibians? Open your big froggie eyes and spot the right answer! Each month, one lucky frog will leap away with a Zootique gift basket worth $75! A bunny and chocolate to sweeten the fun! This year, the Easter Bunny will be joining us every day from April 18th to April 21st. Stop by to say hello, snap a photo, and enjoy a warm hug – he loves greeting visitors! Of course, he will also be handing out sweet chocolate surprises from his basket, so don’t miss your chance to meet him!
**The great Easter giveaway! **This year, no need to hop all over the zoo like a bunny – everyone gets a chance to win! During all four days of Easter, adult visitors will receive a raffle ticket upon arrival and have a chance every day to win a daily Zootique gift basket worth $75! **For a visit out of the ordinary, our Experience+ program is back and better than ever! ** Enjoy a stimulating discussion with our experts during the Breakfast for the animals activities, while having the chance to prepare an animal's meal or enrichment toys, and then observe their reactions from our observation platforms as they receive them! Many options are available, including River Otters, Gray Wolves, Arctic and Red Foxes, Canada Lynx and the great return of Genie, the Black Bear, after her winter slumber!
New On April 26, participate in the first edition of the “Starlight promenade: frog calls and other nocturnal mysteries”!
Immerse yourselves in the magical ambiance of the night, an exclusive experience happening only once this year! A brand-new activity that now includes the popular Frog call night, the Starlight promenade activity will allow you to deepen your knowledge and go out to listen to and search for frogs, in addition to experiencing an exclusive visit on-site at the zoo, at dusk, to observe the mysterious nocturnal behaviors of certain animals in our care. While the sun sets, enjoy an interactive presentation on the nocturnal life of Quebec’s animals and discover their fascinating adaptations for surviving and communicating in the dark. You will also have the chance to get up close and personal with some of the animals in our care! After dark, you will visit some of the animals at the zoo that are active at night, such as some birds of prey and mammals, before venturing to a real marsh! There, you will become explorers: searching for frogs, identifying them with the help of our knowledgeable zoologists and, above all, experiencing the most impressive 100% natural concert in town! An unforgettable evening for all ages, combining learning and wonder at the heart of the nocturnal world!
