Spring at the Ecomuseum Zoo Is Full of Surprises!

Play, learn, and observe… it’s a winning combination at the Ecomuseum Zoo!

Discover our brand-new game, learn more about Québec wildlife, and observe animals in living spaces designed to recreate their natural environments. This is what awaits you starting February 28, at the Ecomuseum Zoo!

After visiting the animals in our care outdoors, stop by the main building for a coffee break (or hot chocolate!) at the coffee machine and warm up while exploring our indoor section featuring reptiles, amphibians, and fish. Be sure to visit our Zootique and discover unique finds in our Québec-made section! The Ecomuseum Zoo is a non-profit organization, so every purchase directly supports the well-being of the animals in our care.

Come observe Wolves, Foxes, birds of prey, White-tailed Deer, Lynx, and many more in a magical, spring setting!

Nature’s Look-alikes!

Nature is full of surprises… and animals that look surprisingly alike!

With your zoo admission, participate to our brand-new game and learn how to tell apart animals you may encounter here at the zoo… or even in your own backyard!

All participants will be entered into a draw to win a gift basket from our Zootique. Don’t miss your chance!

Interpretation pods

Discover our three special themes in our einterpretation pods as we celebrate the season of renewal!

Explore fascinating courtship rituals, colourful displays, and surprising songs that signal the arrival of spring in many species. Learn how some animals change color, emerge from hibernation, or undergo spectacular transformations to adapt to the new season. Finally, meet the newest members of the animal world and discover how parents protect, feed, and raise their young!

Engaging and interactive presentations for all ages that will help you see spring from a whole new perspective!

Interpretation station hours vary.

Easter

Join the tradition! Come celebrate Easter at the Ecomuseum Zoo from Friday, April 3rd to Monday, April 6th. A themed decor, smiles, fun, and a chocolaty surprise for children await you during these four festive days!

We strongly recommend that you book your tickets online in advance.

A bunny and chocolate to sweeten your tooth!

The Easter Bunny and the Bald Eagle, the zoo’s mascot, will be present every day of the celebration, from Friday, April 3rd to Monday, April 6th.

Don’t hesitate to come meet them and take photos with them! A brand-new decor has been specially installed for the occasion. It’s the perfect time to take a family photo and keep a magical memory of the day!

On top of that, the Easter Bunny and the Bald Eagle will be handing out small chocolate surprises to visitors. Another reason not to miss them!

Where Is That Egg?

During the four days of Easter, visitors can take part in our brand-new Easter game: “Where Is That Egg?”

As they explore the site, they will need to find the hidden eggs and write down their answers in their game booklet. Each day, participants will have a chance to win, through a random draw, a $75 Zootique gift basket.

Experience+ Activity

For a truly unique visit, take part in one of our Experience+ activities! Prepare a meal for an Otter, a Wolf, or a Fox, then observe the animals’ reactions while helping support their well-being.
