SPRING BREAK 2026 – ZOOKEEPER FOR A DAY "À LA CARTE"

For Spring Break 2026, give your kids a unique experience!

Each "Zookeeper for a day" includes:

  • A full day at the Ecomuseum Zoo with wildlife experts!
  • Preparing meals to feed certain animals in our care!
  • Exclusive themed activities and animal encounters!
  • And many more surprises!

Register your child (from grades 1 to 6) for either one or more days, depending on the themes that interest them.

Every day, your child will participate in immersive activities and games as well as meet animals from Quebec. Perhaps they will have the chance to meet a large mammal (River Otter, Coyote, Gray Wolf, Canada Lynx...), a bird of prey (Golden Eagle, Rough-legged Hawk…) or even a reptile or amphibian (Snapping Turtle, Milksnake, Bullfrog…)!

Through immersive games and animal encounters, your child will discover the incredible physical and behavioral adaptations that allow species to thrive in some of the most extreme conditions on Earth!

Through hands-on activities and animal observations, your child will explore the unique characteristics of different ecosystems and learn how every species plays an essential role within them!

Colours, patterns, stillness… how do animals become invisible?

Through creative workshops and captivating animal encounters, your child will learn how animals use camouflage, mimicry, and surprising strategies to hide, hunt, or defend themselves in the wild!

From birdsong to insect vibrations, the animal world is filled with astonishing sounds.

Through auditory experiences, sensory games, and animal encounters, your child will discover the many ways animals communicate, whether to attract, warn, cooperate, or ward off intruders!

Great Travelers of the Animal World

Migrators, nomads, adventurers: some animals travel thousands of kilometers!

Through engaging activities and exploration games, your child will trace the incredible journeys of nature’s globe-trotters and discover why and how animals make these spectacular migrations across continents and oceans!

69$ per day per child The registration form must be filled for each day you register your child.

Please Note

All activities are bilingual.

The activity is reserved for children in grades 1 through 6 of elementary school. Verification will be carried out based on their date of birth. Age limits are set from October 1, 2013, to September 30, 2019. For any questions, please contact [email protected].

Each day, participants will be divided into two groups to ensure everyone enjoys an engaging experience with our zoologist-animators. The schedules for both groups will be similar according to the themed day. During registration, you may indicate any preferences in the section "Additionnal Information" to keep your child with certain participants (friends, siblings, etc.), but we cannot guarantee availability.

The day starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:45 p.m., allowing you to pick up your child until 4:00 p.m. Please note that no childcare service is available before 9:00 a.m. or after 4:00 p.m.

Please note that tickets for the activity are neither exchangeable nor refundable.
