Foxes are excellent at camouflage and tend to be quite discreet… except when food is involved! Do not miss the chance to meet the Arctic Fox family living at the Ecomuseum Zoo: Polaris, Neva, and their children Alasa, Lumi, Quinzy and Tundra, as well as the Red Foxes: Sindris, Inari, Saga, Zenka, and Timothea. They all love receiving surprises from visitors during breakfast, and their appetite is as big as their curiosity!
The activity lasts 2 hours. You will first attend an interactive presentation on the Foxes, where you’ll learn more about their behavior, their role in nature, and especially their diet! Then, once you’ve become true experts, it will be your turn to jump into action: you’ll get a hands-on experience by preparing the Foxes’ breakfast before their meal is served to them at each of their living spaces. That’s when you’ll experience a truly unique moment, observing the Arctic Foxes as well as the Red Foxes explore and enjoy the creations you made for them! You will not regret bringing your camera!
The activity begins at 8:30 a.m., before the zoo opens, and ends at 10:30 a.m. The activity is led by one of our zoologists, who are experts in all things Quebec wildlife, so be sure to ask them any questions or curiosities that come to mind throughout the activity! You will then have the opportunity to visit the Ecomuseum Zoo freely as the price of admission is included in the activity cost.
Please note that children under 5 years old will not be admitted to this activity.
Reservations are required in advance required.
